Brown University, an Ivy League institution, has disclosed a new investment in the IBIT Bitcoin ETF, acquiring 105,000 shares valued at $4.9 million as reported in its latest 13F filing. This position, representing a 2% allocation in their portfolio, was established sometime between January and March of this year.The university's endowment, valued at $7.2 billion, marks this as its first foray into Bitcoin, making Brown the third US college to invest in the cryptocurrency.
